STUDIO RULES

  • Respect for the Space: All guests must treat Blank House Studio, including its space, furniture, amenities, and equipment, with care and respect.

  • Booking Time & Overtime: Your booking includes setup and pack-down time. Any additional time beyond your booking will be charged at $130/hr (excl. GST).

  • Damage Policy: Any damage to the studio, cyclorama, furniture, or props may incur a repair or replacement fee, charged based on the extent of the damage. Please take care of the cyclorama by avoiding walking on the cyc floor with shoes— slippers are provided, or remove shoes unless necessary for the shot. Cleaning products are available for your use. Damages requiring urgent repainting may incur a $250 excess fee.

  • Equipment & Prop Use: Clients use all equipment and props at their own risk. Any damage to these items will be charged at full replacement cost (RRP).

  • Restoring the Space: All furniture and equipment must be returned to its original position and condition by the end of the hire period. Failure to do so may result in an additional reset fee.

  • Cleaning Responsibilities:

    • All rubbish must be disposed of in the outdoor bin.

    • The kitchen must be left clean, with all dishes washed and put away.

    • A cleaning fee may apply if the space is not left in an acceptable condition.

  • Security & Surveillance: BlankHouse Studio is monitored by security cameras for safety and theft prevention. Please be mindful of this when changing or creating explicit content.

CANCELLATIONS

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before the booking: Full refund of total booking fee.

  • Cancellations made between 7 to 14 days before the booking: 50% refund of the total booking fee.

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the booking: No refund unless the studio is rebooked for the same date. If rebooked, a full refund minus the deposit is provided.

RESCHEDULING

  • More than 48 hours’ notice: No penalty, the full amount will be applied to a future booking.

  • Less than 48 hours’ notice: Treated as a cancellation (refund policy applies).

  • Multiple Reschedules: A booking may only be rescheduled once. Additional reschedule requests will be treated as cancellations.

All cancellation or rescheduling requests must be made in writing via email to info@blankhouseco.com.au or text to 0407 273 273.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Yes! Blank House is available outside of hours upon prior agreement. Be sure to reach out to us and we will see how we can make it work for you. Note a surcharge may apply.

  • Blank House is a part of a shared warehousing complex, there may be slight noise interruptions depending on the time and day, however it is predominately quiet and shouldn’t disrupt any filming.
    During business hours, music levels must be kept moderate - feel free to play some loud tunes on the weekend!

  • We love music here at Blank House! So music is totally fine at a reasonable level. Being in a shared complex we have neighbours who we respect and expect you to, too.

  • Yes we have heaps of FREE underground parking! There are also two spots available right in front of the studio with roller door access which is perfect for unloading - please just be mindful as this is a truck turning circle.

  • Yes, there is a small kitchen and bathroom space within the space. This is fully stocked with a microwave, kettle, toaster, plates, cutlery and even an airfryer!
    There is also one private bathroom on site.

  • Our smoke alarms are super sensitive so there is currently no use of smoke or haze machines unless organised beforehand. If the alarms are set off the fire department needs to be called to disarm them, The Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) false alarm charges are high and will be forwarded to the renter. Liquids are okay provided there is sufficient cleanup at the end of the rental and no damage to the floors, especially the cyclorama.
