STUDIO RULES

It is expected that all of our guests will treat Blank House’s space, furniture, amenities and equipment with respect. 

  • Your hours of hire include set up time and cleaning up. Please ensure this is considered at the time of booking, any additional time will be charged on an hourly fee. 

  • Any damage to our studio space, cyclorama, furniture or props could result in a damage fee charged to clients based on the damage caused.

  • Any equipment or props used by the client are used at their own risk. Any damage caused to these will occur at full cost to the client based on RRP of the damaged item.

  • All equipment moved/used and furniture rearranged must return to original space by the end of the hire period in the same condition as it was provided. Failure to return the studio back to original condition, a fee could apply. 

  • All rubbish needs to be disposed of in the outside bins and kitchen left clean, with dishes clean and put away - we may charge an additional clean up fee if deemed required.

  • Blank House is monitored by a video camera as a security measure. Camera footage will be used to confirm any damage/theft. Please be aware of these cameras if getting changed or taking explicit content.

Cancellations & Rescheduling 

  • Rescheduling and cancellations must be done no less than 48 hours before the original booking time and date.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours of booking with forfeit 25% of the hiring cost. Cancellations within 12 hours of the booking with forfeit 50% of the hiring cost.

  • If Blank House cancels the booking for unforeseen circumstance or occurrence we will offer a 100% refund to the client and rebook the hire free of charge.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Yes! Blank House is available outside of hours upon prior agreement. Be sure to reach out to us and we will see how we can make it work for you. Note a surcharge may apply.

  • Blank House is a part of a shared warehousing complex, there may be slight noise interruptions depending on the time and day, however it is predominately quiet and shouldn’t disrupt any filming.
    During business hours, music levels must be kept moderate - feel free to play some loud tunes on the weekend!

  • We love music here at Blank House! So music is totally fine at a reasonable level. Being in a shared complex we have neighbours who we respect and expect you to, too.

  • Yes we have heaps of FREE underground parking! There are also two spots available right in front of the studio with roller door access which is perfect for unloading - please just be mindful as this is a truck turning circle.

  • Yes, there is a small kitchen and bathroom space within the space. This is fully stocked with a microwave, kettle, toaster, plates, cutlery and even an airfryer!
    There is also one private bathroom on site.

  • Our smoke alarms are super sensitive so there is currently no use of smoke or haze machines unless organised beforehand. If the alarms are set off the fire department needs to be called to disarm them, The Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) false alarm charges are high and will be forwarded to the renter. Liquids are okay provided there is sufficient cleanup at the end of the rental and no damage to the floors, especially the cyclorama.
